Here is a healthy turkey recipe thatalsoincludes the use of popcorn as a stuffing. Imagine that! When I foundthis recipe, I thought it was perfectfor people who are not sure how totellwhen poultry is thoroughly cookedbut not dried out. Give this atry.

8 – 15 lb.turkey
1 cup meltedbutter
1 – 2cups stuffing (PepperidgeFarm)
1can Swanson's VegetableBroth
1 cup uncooked popcorn(Orville Redenbacker's Low Fat), salt and pepper to taste
(OPTIONAL)Onion, Celeryand Apple. Dice well and fold into stuffing

Preparethe stuffing according topackage directions. Use the broth for your liquid.Preheat oven to350degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt, andpepper.

Fill cavitywithstuffing and popcorn. Place inbaking pan with the neck end toward theback of the oven. Listen for the poppingsounds. Whenthat peice that made it over the fence lastblows the oven door open and the birdfliesacross the room, it's done!

And you thought I didn'tcook…Happy T-Day!

Just a little Thanksgiving levity. Remember, preparing the meal is only a small part of enjoying the holidays. Being with friends, family and loved ones and giving thanks is really what it's all about.
