Recently, Marsha posted a blog surveyabout stress. What causes more stress, the economy, your family, work, school, healthor your bod? Well, unfortunately, not a big shocker; some of us would rather have our 401K sink to unbelievable lows than see ourselves naked in a mirror.

Have you fallen into the “health halo” trap? Reported on by the New York Times, the health halo is what researchers have dubbed the effect where the presence of a supposedly healthy food within a meal makes consumers judge the whole meal as healthier.
Dr Chandon, co-author of The Biasing Health Halos of Fast-Food Restaurant Health Claims had produced two questionnaires which were used by the New York Times in a survey.

Not many studies have been conducted on exercise and type 2 diabetes prevention in black women. But a recent publication in the American Journal of Epidemiology shows that severalbrisk walks per week can help to lower black women's type 2 diabetes risk.
